Today, Monday, one day after the presidential elections in my country Venezuela, you can feel a certain calm but tense, as if you were expecting something to happen, and the truth is that I don't know what could happen, even today I didn't go to work because they had notified me that we weren't going to work today. However, I show this series of photographs that continue in the course for many people who follow the rhythm of their lives or even what is our environment in general still persists in their routines, from small birds, a dog or some fishermen.
These photographs are part of what I perceive, what I see before my eyes and what I want to capture in essence with my camera, which has the grace of stopping those moments, as well as freezing that moment of light, because as I usually say every second is the constant change of light, and therefore natural light can create different scenarios depending on the constancy of the light and much more when we are in rainy season.
Finally, I must emphasize that I hope that the situation in my country does not get worse and that there are ways to resolve political and economic tensions, because it is no secret to anyone in this world about everything that is happening in Venezuela. I am only here with the exhibition of these photographs to convey the tranquility and peace that these images can convey and what we all want from that.
