Last week when I photographed the statue of Simon Bolivar in the square named after his last name, I decided that it was an interesting place because it is one of the most visited squares and the amount of photographers who have done sessions in these surroundings is incredible and makes sense, because it really has a pretty nice scenery and depending on the time it may not be so busy, so you can take pictures without anyone is constantly passing, but this time I did not want to do a session with a person, I wanted to do something different.
La semana pasada cuando hice las fotografías a la estatua de Simón Bolívar en la plaza que lleva como nombre su mismo apellido, decidí que era un lugar interesante al ser una de las plazas más visitadas y es que la cantidad de fotógrafos que han realizado sesiones en estos alrededores es increíble y tiene mucho sentido, porque realmente cuenta con un escenario bastante lindo y según la hora puede no estar tan transitada, por lo que puedes hacer fotografías sin que nadie esté pasando constantemente, pero en esta ocasión yo no quise hacer una sesión con alguna persona, quise hacer algo distinto.
In these photographs that I share with you, I wanted to focus on the details, on those details that few people notice and that undoubtedly are what I consider give some magic to the square, because although the square is beautiful, everything that surrounds it as the cathedral, the streets, the only tall building here and the colonial architecture of some buildings certainly give that necessary touch and that is what I hope you can feel in these photographs that I share with you, I tried to capture those details that I consider essential in the best possible way.
En estas fotografías que les comparto, yo quise fijarme en los detalles, en aquellos detalles en los que pocas personas se fijan y que sin lugar a duda es lo que considero le dan cierta magia a la plaza, porque si bien la plaza es preciosa, todo lo que le rodea como la catedral, las calles, el único edificio alto que hay aquí y la arquitectura colonial de algunas construcciones sin duda dan ese toque necesario y es lo que espero puedan sentir en estas fotografías que les comparto, intenté capturar esos detalles que considero imprescindibles de la mejor manera posible.
Although this is not the kind of pictures I usually take, lately I have been taking different pictures in each of my outings, I always try to photograph something and as on these occasions I don't have models to take pictures of, I take advantage of the environment and each of the things that make it up. The editing process does take me some time, although I am deciding on a similar style to the photographs of the statues that I shared and the reason for this is that I like them to have a certain connection, since as I have been saying, all these photographs belong to the same place.
Si bien este no es el tipo de fotografías que acostumbro hacer, últimamente me he dado la tarea de hacer distintas fotografías en cada una de mis salidas, siempre intento fotografiar algo y como en estas ocasiones no tengo modelos a quienes hacerles fotos, aprovecho el entorno y cada una de las cosas que lo conformen. El proceso de edición sí que me lleva su tiempo, aunque estoy decidiendo un estilo similar a las fotografías de las estatuas que compartí y la razón de esto es que me gusta que tengan cierta conexión, ya que como bien vengo diciendo, todas estas fotografías pertenecen a un mismo lugar.
I really hope you like these pictures as much as I do, I know that saying this being the one who took the pictures is wrong, but without a doubt I consider that these are some of my best pictures of this style, although clearly I have a lot of practice and learning to do.
