Photographing a baseball game [Eng/Esp]

There are few occasions where I have the opportunity to take some pictures of certain sports and this time I was able to witness a children's baseball game. I must be very honest, baseball is not my favorite sport, but being there on the field and witnessing all the public how they celebrated every time something good happened to their team made me also get infected with the energy, so I decided to take some pictures of certain moments that I found interesting, so I hope you like these pictures as much as I do.

Son pocas las ocasiones donde tengo la oportunidad de hacer algunas fotografías de ciertos deportes y en esta oportunidad pude presenciar un partido de béisbol de niños. Debo ser muy sincero, el beisbol no es mi deporte favorito, pero estando allí en el campo y presenciar a todo el público como festejaba cada vez que algo bueno le sucedía a su equipo me hizo contagiarme también de la energía, por eso decidí hacer algunas fotografías de ciertos momentos que me parecían interesantes, por lo que espero que estas fotografías les gusten tanto como a mí.

Personally I know that taking pictures in moments where there is a lot of movement is complicated, I have already experienced it when I took pictures of skateboarding and freestyle competitions, but in this one I could say that it was a little easier to capture the movement and the reason for this was the sunlight, being a game in the morning the sun was quite strong, which allowed me to raise the necessary values to make a cleaner capture of movement and also to have a good focus without resorting to ISO to compensate for the lighting.

En lo personal sé que el hacer fotografías en momentos donde hay mucho movimiento es complicado, ya lo he experimentado cuando hice las fotografías de skate y de las competencias de freestyle, pero en esta podría decir que fue un poco más fácil el capturar el movimiento y la razón de esto fue la luz del sol, al ser un partido por la mañana el sol estaba bastante fuerte, lo que me permitió subir los valores necesarios para hacer una captura del movimiento más limpia y también el tener un buen enfoque sin necesidad de recurrir al ISO para compensar la iluminación.

For the editing of these photographs I only highlighted a little more the colors that were already there, I had to lower a little the high lights, because as I mentioned before, the sun was quite strong, which generated some high lights and very marked shadows, so I tried to balance this in the photographs to obtain a cleaner result and that did not feel uncomfortable to the eye. Really, taking pictures in these sports has delighted me. I am looking forward to attending more baseball games and if possible other sports as well, I hope to do it soon.

Para la edición de estas fotografías solo resalté un poco más los colores que ya estaban allí, tuve que bajar un poco las altas luces, porque como mencionaba antes, el sol estaba bastante fuerte, lo que generaba unas altas luces y unas sombras muy marcadas, por lo que intenté equilibrar esto en las fotografías para obtener un resultado más limpio y que no se sintiese incómodo a la vista. Realmente, el hacer fotografías en estos deportes me ha encantado. Estoy deseoso de asistir a más partidos de béisbol y de ser posible de otros deportes también, espero hacerlo pronto.
