Looking at the photos I had the feeling of being in a movie... and later I read that you wanted to achieve that cinematographic style :D

We love being on this kind of trips - whole day driving and stops to rest and refuel. But as we get older it gets more tiring hahaha - so we add more stops and longer ones.
