Join me today as we walk around this cute BnB, I stayed in… when I drove through The Netherlands last month, its location was just above #Hoogeveen in the province of #Drenthe 🇳🇱
This little cottage had some nice #surprises and a welcome #distraction from driving over 3000km.

Let me show you around and in this B&B
As you could see in the first photo, it has a cute terrace on the outside of the cottage.
A few views inside:
It was open plan, a bed, dining table… seating area and a small kitchen. Further a bathroom with shower. Everything you need actually to relax a few days or even more. I was here (sadly) only 1 night. As I had to catch a ferry ⛴️ again the next day.
I liked how it was decorated, very cute.

The welcome distraction and a wonderful surprise I found… when I sat outside for a while, resting up… sipping a cappuccino ☕️ and taking in the views.

Not long after I was outside… a little herd of deer 🦌 came wandering towards the front to check out “their new neighbour”
Just look at them, HOW CUTE 🥰 even a few #fawns… (baby deer)
Of course I stayed a while outside and observed them, #observing me hahaha 🤣
After a while they were wandering around the fields and minding their own business again. So beautiful to be this close to them 😊 I could watch them every day.
There were also a few chickens around. They had to come say hi too 👋🏻
A little #chicken #coop for the night and to collect fresh #eggs 🥚
A #carriage for some more cute details on the grounds.
A little gate to enter the fields… I found an #alpaca 🦙 being just in the right position to capture with my phone…. while I was still sitting on the terrace 😉 📸
Now it was time to go grocery shopping 🛒 for dinner… it was at this time 17:12h so I left this place for a few hours.
When I was back….
….dinner was heating up in the #oven 🥘 I went (of course) outside to the terrace again to see where the animals would be.
The deer are resting in the shade of the trees 🌳
In the distance more and some alpacas 🦙
See the chickens 🐓 come running towards me 😁
And moments later they were at the fence 😊🐓
I take some #closeups off them… for later reference to paint 🎨 or draw ✍🏻

I took many photos at this point and show you just a selection of them… it would be a tooooo long post otherwise hahaha 🤪
My favourite photo from today : mama deer with her fawns 🥰
This is also a mama… mama alpaca with her young.
So cute, such a nice location to have a bed and breakfast with views on the garden with animals you don’t see that often this up close.
After a good nights sleep 🛌 💤 I was awake early… and guess what… I went outside again to check on the animals 😊 and say goodbye 👋🏻
The animals were spread around everywhere.
Now I saw 3 alpacas 🦙 in 3 colours… even cuter 🥰
A chicken came running towards the fence again…
Bye bye all animals, I hope until one day 👋🏻 I see you again.
