We do learn for sure. Today I wrapped up warm to go to the store for groceries. The car measured along the way -17,5 degrees Celsius. Very cold today…
Luckily the cabin was a nice and warm when we returned. 🙂

That sounds really crazy, that must have been an adventure in the least to just get out of the car and into the shop! I remember the days when we were in Sweden, it was the same. But for us South Africans, the snow was just too much fun to stay inside.

Yes hahaha we can have exciting adventures here every day now. Just shopping is one of them.
One has to rethink just the smallest things one doesn’t even think about living in a mild climate.

Yes, snow is fun in many ways.
Right now it doesn’t stick together. It’s too fluffy… so I can’t build a snowman ⛄️ yet. No idea how to make it stick.

That is so interesting, the different textures of snow. I remember when we were in Sweden and Denmark, when the snow melts and becomes such a weird messy puddle of dirt. It was not cool!

I can only imagine, it is so strange, the things we take for granted. It makes life interesting to say the least.

Yes it is. I know what you mean. The horrible slush everywhere. We so don't like it, especially being on foot.

As it should be, very interesting hahaha 🤣
!LOL

I am glad that I was not the only one experiencing it as such! I could not speak to anyone really because of the language barrier, and back then I was not on any social media platforms really. Plus, everyone back home had never experienced snow! So, it was something totally new.

Sorry for the long delay in replies! I hope you have a fantastic new week.

I know what you mean. A new country, the other language… snow can be a totally new experience. Especially when it is slush… England seems to have the most of that kind of snow

On your trip didn’t they speak english anywhere? When I drove through Sweden everybody replied in english even if we tried to speak some basic Swedish in shops and restaurants. Or meeting people on the street.

No worries 😉 different time of the year 😎 I seem to be posting a lot of snowy posts lately hahaha ☃️ lot’s of snow here now. More to come today.
Have a good week!
