Today is probably one of those few days in the year when it's hard for me to think and therefore also to write... But, be that as it may, here are my photos to speak for me and share with you here on #Hive...
01-"Epiphany" / 📷 50 mm| 1/1600s | f/5.0 | ISO 400
02-"The Sower" / 📷 50 mm| 1/1250s | f/5.0 | ISO 400
All these photos were taken during the morning of Friday 19th of this month (two days ago). As you can see, I went to the field very early (around 6:00 AM) before the sun came up. There I took the opportunity to pass unnoticed and take some pictures through which I could express some of my particular tendency to introspection which I feel these days.
03-"The harvester" / 📷 50 mm| 1/1600s | f/4.0 | ISO 320
04-"Emptiness" / 📷 50 mm| 1/3200s | f/5.0 | ISO 500
To take these pictures I went alone with my small fixed 50mm lens, switched my camera to semi-automatic aperture mode (P) and just made aperture and ISO adjustments as I understood the light conditions of the moment and the elements present in the image to be photographed. This was almost automatic, as I photograph in fog and I already have in my head several combinations of parameters suitable for this.
05-"The walker" / 📷 50 mm| 1/2000s | f/5.0 | ISO 500
06-"Sun wanting to be" / 📷 50 mm| 1/8000s | f/5.0 | ISO 500
All this "atomospheric" feeling of mist-laden mornings in the countryside gives the photos a dramatic effect far beyond what you would expect from going out to take pictures on dusty roads surrounded by fields and pastures in January. So take the opportunity to title each photo with a slightly dramatic title!... I love doing that, although I don't know why! ;)
07-"The open plain" / 📷 50 mm| 1/8000s | f/5.0 | ISO 320
08-"When the sun wins" / 📷 50 mm| 1/2000s | f/5.0 | ISO 320
Black & white versions!
And obviously, here are the monochrome versions of these photos for you!.... It's a lovely thing to look at them also in black and white, as several of them have a complex meaning and this is something that - in my opinion - is best appreciated in black and white...
