Hello my dear #Hive people!... I hope you all had good holidays and I wish with all my heart that this 2024 will be a great year for everyone here in our beloved blockhain #Hive ecosystem!
And of course, here I am with new street photos to share with you all from my town!...

These are photographs taken during the last week of 2023. I set out to take some detail shots of the exterior of old houses in the village. This is a type of photography that I like to do a lot, as it requires a lot of concentration to find interesting details in everyday things.

I made a selection of nine photographs and I am accompanying them (each group of three photos) with the black and white versions so that you can appreciate them as well.

The things I can find on the facades of the old houses in my village are simply fascinating. You just have to keep your eyes open and walk slowly and patiently through the streets. Then I am sure to come across what I call "small, visually complex spaces", which I like to photograph so much. Here in these photos many things come together in relation to the old style of construction and how these details have survived the mistreatment of time. But it also speaks of something that will disappear at some point, as many of these houses are in a state of neglect and will inevitably fall victim to it.

I took these pictures with a 100 mm fixed macro lens. Actually it's something I could also do with some of my other fixed lenses like the 50 mm or the 3 5mm, but this time I used the 100 mm just by chance. Be that as it may, the important thing here is the ability to record a lot of detail and on most occasions add some drama with good background blur and that's what this lens is good for which I used this time.
Thank you very much for your visit and appreciation!
ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... The pictures are then exported to JPG format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.
