I would like to share photos today that I took at two different venues. We love animals and we love to go out and spend some time at places where we can admire horses.
Fortunately, we live in an area where horses are popular, so it's not difficult to find a spot where we can enjoy the horses.
Shongweni Club.
Based just outside of Hillcrest, west of Durban South Africa, is the Shongweni Club, known as the equestrian hub of the Kwazulu Natal province. It is also known as one of the best competitive venues in the country.
We recently went for a walk on the premises of the Shongweni Club and we were fortunate enough to find some horses in a paddock, just relaxing and having a good time.
It was a peaceful morning and spending time with the horses was amazing!
On Private Property in Hillcrest.
On another occasion, my wife had an appointment with her hairdresser. They are running the salon from their home.
They said I was welcome to come and get some photos of the horses while I was waiting for my wife.
The horses were in a camp at the lower end of the property.
Zooming in to take a better look...
This lady took a casual stroll toward the other side of the camp.
Looking around to see what I'm doing...
This guy was paying no attention to me and was happy where he was...for now...lol.
More nourishment to be found toward the middle of the camp...
Later, they went down to the lowest part of the camp, moving behind the greenery to the left at the very bottom, where they weren't clearly visible for a while...
Another shot of the furthest corner of the camp, with a forest area to the right...
A glance at the forest next to the camp where the horses were.
Then, the horses made an appearance again, being in a playful mood.
Soon, they came running up to the higher area again...
While the other two ran back to the highest spot, this one decided to chill in the shade of the trees, watching what the other two were up to.
The other two decided it was time to get some water.
Well, water is not always just for drinking... Sometimes we can just have fun with it too...LOL!
And with that, we come to the end of today's post.
Thank you for reading my post! I do appreciate it!
