On Monday, June 17, we attended an international horse show-jumping event at the Shongweni Club. The Shongweni Club is situated in the Outer West area of Durban on the east coast of South Africa.
I captured some nice action shots on the day and would like to share some of them with you today.
I will focus on one contender for today of whom I got some nice shots.
Here she was getting focused and checking out the course before her round started.
Then her round started and she approached her first obstacle.
Then she took off...and over she went!
She went to the far end of the arena and then returned, coming toward me for the next shot. This photo is not as sharp as I would have wanted it to be due to movement, but I thought I'd still share the excitement of the moment with you, watching this beautiful, muscular animal clearing the next obstacle.
All clear!!
In the next shot, she passed right by me, and looking at these photos afterward I thought this would make a perfect black & white...
Then she was returning from the far end of the arena again, going over another obstacle, coming straight toward me again.
And no doubt, another clear jump.
She did a perfect round with no penalties against her.
And with that, we come to the end of today's post.
Thank you for reading my post! I do appreciate it!
