A Nice Footbridge and Some Finer Detail in Danville Park.

During the last week or so, I have shared some photos of a beautiful nature reserve we recently discovered.

It was only a short walk due to a lack of time, but we are definitely going back to explore more in this lovely reserve.

Danville Park forms part of a secondary coastal dune forest in the Durban North area on the east coast of South Africa. The soil is sandy and erodes easily. It is like walking on sea sand.

In my first photo, you can see the sand in the foreground as we approached a nice little footbridge to cross over a little water stream.

A few minutes later we had the option to choose between two trails.

We chose the Lower Path which led us down to another, little more adventurous crossing over a wider, but shallow stream of water.

Some Finer Detail in Danville Park.

Let's have a look at some finer details to be enjoyed while walking along the trails in Danville Park.

I love finding the presence of water streams, puddles, waterfalls, etc. while walking in nature. But there is also no shortage of beautiful color and detail in this park.

Like these beautiful flowers just before they open up...

And this is what they look like when they are open.

And then of course...there are these characters who are normally more irritating, but this one was lazy and gave me enough time to capture some natural detail...LOL!

And with that, we come to the end of today's post.

Thank you for reading my post! I do appreciate it!
