i don't know much about videos. there are lots of good tips and info about improving photography on the internet. just try and see. the main thing i think about is the light especially where is it coming from. the light behind you gives best colors, sidelight give best textures and depth. taking facing the light is more challenging but can be very effectful with practice. try from all different directions during sunset or sunrise my profile photo is an example. then start looking at the world with the idea that you are looking for things that would make a nice photo. i am sure you will see rapid improvement once you set your mind to it. beauty is all around you
