RE: Portraits between surrealism and expressionism.

in Photography Lovers2 months ago

Hi @avdesing. Today you bring us a very interesting walk very well accompanied by your words. When I go to an exhibition I try not to get close to a guide (if there are any) or document myself about it. But I do approach the work as you do, trying to make sense of what I see. Afterwards, if I like it, I try to inform myself about what I have seen, and I quite enjoy that dialogue between what I saw and what the artist wanted to express, sometimes it's quite funny.

From this exhibition I really liked Carlos Buro's painting and I also share your appreciation for Paul Hoffman's painting. I certainly enjoyed this walk very much.

Best regards Amonet.

In my case, my favourites are the one by the artist Segaal, the second one you mention and the last one. And I love to get close and see what I feel or what each of them says to me... exactly. Thank you very much!

Thanks to you for the ride, I enjoyed it very much. Happy Sunday afternoon!!

Nice evening, I'm off for a walk! See you tomorrow!

See you tomorrow!😃
