Portraits of Strangers on the Street.
Hi everyone!
This week I was walking through the streets of the Recoleta neighborhood, my goal was to take some photos of the landscape of the area since I had not visited this part of the city for some time. After taking some photos on the bridge I remembered an initiative I had in mind about urban portraits of strange people in the streets, I had never done this before and since I was in a tourist area I decided to do a little test.
I looked around and saw a girl asking people to take her photo, I thought she was a tourist but many of them refused to do so... I thought it was a good time to make the proposal.
After proposing to take some photos, which he very kindly accepted, we talked a little. and coincidentally she is also Venezuelan, she lives in Chile but she was on vacation in Buenos Aires for a few days... this automatically generated a more pleasant atmosphere.
It is a good opportunity to meet people and connect, even more so if that person has an affinity with modeling, photography or just likes photography in general terms.
Damelis was really happy to be able to get her photos and not exactly taken with a phone, we became friends very quickly, so it was a very nice experience.
This is the first time I have done this proposal on the streets, I think I am encouraged to do it continually in different tourist areas of the city. I remember that at some point @malos10 and I were talking about that, I also thought about you bro, before everything :)
I took the photos on the bridge over Figueroa Alcorta Avenue, there are beautiful urban landscapes in the background.
