Those of us who know Corrientes Avenue in Buenos Aires know that it's fascinating, both day and night, each scene is different and unique, a very popular and tourist avenue. It's a nice place to walk and on weekends there are sections that are pedestrian, so it's perfect.
This time I want to share some somewhat different shots with you, it is not the avenue in general but rather details that I find interesting, also testing depth of field, bokeh, and some feathered friends also stopping to admire the cityscape and obelisk 😁🐦
I was here for a long time for these shots, a little patience and I would get something different than just portraying an avenue. That image of these little ones looking towards the obelisk seemed too good to let go. So I can say I made it :)
I have walked here many times and I have shared many photos of the place but I always try to look for different things, I know that it is a matter of seeing beyond and appreciating different moments, details and events. Decisive moments, I really like that expression and I think it applies very well to the first two shots.
It's very common to see cyclists passing by, so I took a few photos of two people on their bikes. The first of these is my favorite, the light is right on the cyclist.
The obelisk is great, a beautiful monument but I have decided to leave it in the background this time.
A simple cone but the 85mm lens makes it look interesting, I'm not sure now but I think the aperture of that particular shot is f/5.0
Well, this next photo could be considered my second favorite of this set, it is something totally different, a simple puddle on the avenue after a rainy day. What makes it an interesting shot? For me... that little dove up ahead and the reflection of some old buildings.
To finish I leave you a couple of photos taken at the same angle but with different focus points, The first only shows a simple sewer, the second is in the same place but the focus is on the avenue itself :)
What did you think of this set? The photos are very recent, in fact I took them yesterday afternoon.
I hope you enjoy them!
That's all folks! Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.
