A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to share with my colleagues, sometimes we should not only wait for a special day to get together and have an amazing time. We just have to take the space out of our agenda and organize a meeting to strengthen relationships.
We spend so much time immersed in work and indirectly sharing with our colleagues that we don't realize that they are becoming very close and part of our social and family circle.
At the beginning of the year I could visualize how one of the coworkers was a little restless and with very sensitive feelings, on more than one occasion I saw her crying and I wanted to approach her to comfort her, but I stopped myself because I felt that I did not have the confidence to do it, then I heard that she had some problems at home and I guessed where the matter was coming from.
Our meeting began with a delicious lunch and good dance music and then decided to include in our meeting some liquor, so that by nightfall several were already a little high and left aside the fear of singing and chanting songs and that was how a couple of friends dusted off some old songs of Ana Gabriel entitled " They are things of love "
This song first made me remember times of my adolescence in high school, there are so many memories that came to my mind as a fleeting flash that was very pleasant to relive them, with this song I have seen cry and even I myself did it for things of heartbreak, but this time the role was assumed by one of my classmates, I knew of her talent for dancing, but not for singing and when this song came out she immediately took the microphone and began to sing it with so much feeling, that another of the colleagues who was there decided to be part of this duet and in the middle of all this all those present decided to join the song chanting with great force each of its lyrics.
Before the end of the song my friend laughed out loud, over and over again, from my perspective it was a strategy that she herself used to not let herself break in the middle of everyone present. It is impressive how a relationship of so many years ends overnight or well, those of us who are from the outside visualize it that way because no one knows the internal situations, only those who live it day by day.
However, this reminded me of a reading I did some time ago that talked about marriage and expressed that relationships end only because we stop working together to keep alive the flame and passion of love, Let's remember that love is like the battery of a phone if you don't charge it continuously it will go off and it simply turns off and once this happens you go into intensive therapy and it is very, very complicated to return to the initial time, there are many scars that are left in the process and the heart has an immense memory that does not allow those wounds to heal completely and to forgive.
I am not one to criticize the culmination of a marriage, but I really find it very sad to see how these relationships break and in turn leave sequels and extend thorns to their children and people very close to them. Our karaoke night was led by songs of Ana Gabriel, we all decided to give that moral and musical support to our friend, another song that touched her heart was. "Cigarette"
With this song she let the most sensitive tears of her heart flow, which was necessary, she needed to clear her soul, to break that mask that she kept at home so as not to affect her children, who even though they are young and teenagers, are still being affected by the separation of their parents.
She did not finish singing this song when she just exploded and began to express in tears how empty she was feeling by the absence of her life partner with whom she had shared the best years of her life, they were 23 years of union and all fell without realizing that was what hurt her the most, there were so many memories in the different corners of her home that the last place she wanted to be was there for the simple fact that everything reminded her of him.
Although I had a long time without sharing with my work colleagues and friends in the midst of so many circumstances I loved being part of this meeting because in a way it made us wake up and activate our sensors and alerts to continue working to strengthen the foundations that together with my husband we have been building every day, that's what marriage is all about, to be accomplices at all times and not to open gaps that break the beautiful magic of love.

Hace un par de semanas tuve la oportunidad de compartir con mis colegas, en ocasiones no solo debemos esperar que sea un día especial para reunirte y pasar un tiempo increíble. Solo debemos sacar el espacio de nuestra agenda y organizar un encuentro para estrechar relaciones.
Pasamos tanto tiempo sumergidos en el trabajo y compartiendo de manera indirecta con nuestros colegas que no nos damos cuenta que se están convirtiendo en personas muy cercanas y parte de nuestro círculo social y familiar.
A principio de año pude visualizar como una de las compañeras de trabajo estaba algo inquieta y con sus sentimientos muy sensible, en más de una oportunidad la vi llorar y quise acercarme a consolarla, pero me detenía por sentir que no tenía la confianza para realizarlo, después escuché que tenía algunos problemas en el hogar y supuse por donde venía el asunto.
Nuestro encuentro inicio con un delicioso almuerzo y buena música bailable y luego decidieron incluir en nuestra reunión algo de licor, por lo que al caer la noche ya varios estaban algo subidos de tono y dejaron de lado el miedo a cantar y corear canciones y fue así como un par de amigas desempolvaron unas viejas canciones de Ana Gabriel titulada "Cosas del Amor"
Esta canción primeramente me hizo recordar tiempos de mi adolescencia en el bachillerato, son tantos los recuerdos que vinieron a mi mente como un destello fugaz que fue muy grato revivirlos, con esta canción he visto llorar y hasta yo misma lo hice por cosas del desamor, pero en esta oportunidad el protagonismo lo asumió una de mis compañeras, sabia de su talento para el baile, pero no del canto y cuando salió esta canción inmediatamente tomo el micrófono y comenzó a cantarla con tanto sentimiento, que otra de las colegas que estaba allí decidió ser parte de este dueto y en medio de todo esto todos los presentes decidimos unirnos a la canción coreando con mucha fuerza cada una de sus letras.
Antes de culminar la canción mi amiga reía a carcajadas, una y otra vez, desde mi perspectiva fue una estrategia que Ella misma utilizo para no dejarse quebrar en medio de todos los presentes. Resulta impresionante como una relación de tantos años se termina de la noche a la mañana o bueno las personas que estamos desde el exterior lo visualizamos así porque nadie conoce las situaciones internas, solo las que la viven día a día.
Sin embargo, esto me hizo recordar una lectura que realice hace un tiempo hablaba justamente del matrimonio y expresaba que las relaciones de pareja se terminan solo porque dejamos de trabajar en conjunto por mantener viva la llama y pasión del amor, recordemos que el amor es como la batería de un teléfono sino la cargas continuamente va a llegar a off y simplemente se apaga y una vez que esto sucede entras en terapia intensiva y es muy, pero muy complicado volver al tiempo inicial, son muchas las cicatrices que se dejan en el proceso y el corazón tiene una inmensa memoria que no permite que esas heridas sanen por completo y poder perdonar.
No soy nadie para caer en la crítica de la culminación de un matrimonio, pero de verdad me resulta muy triste ver como se rompen estas relaciones y a su vez dejan secuelas y extienden espinas a sus hijos y personas muy cercana. Nuestra noche de karaoke estuvo liderada por canciones de Ana Gabriel, todos decidimos darle ese apoyo moral y musical a nuestra amiga, otra de las canciones que toco mucho su corazón fue el “Cigarrillo”.
Con esta canción dejo brotar las lágrimas más sensibles de su corazón, lo cual era necesario, ella necesitaba despejar su alma, romper esa mascara que mantenía en su hogar para no afectar a sus hijos, quienes aun cuando ya son jóvenes y adolescentes, de igual manera están siendo afectados por la separación de sus padres.
No termino de cantar esta canción cuando solo exploto y comenzó a expresar en medio del llanto lo vacía que se estaba sintiendo por la ausencia de su compañero de vida con quien había compartido los mejores años de su vida, eran 23 años de unión y todos se cayeron sin darse cuenta que era lo que más le dolía, eran tantos los recuerdos en los diferentes rincones de su hogar que el último lugar en el cual quería estar era allí por el simple hecho de que todo le recordaba a él.
Aunque tenía mucho tiempo sin compartir con mis compañeros y amigas de trabajo en medio de tantas circunstancias me encanto ser parte de este encuentro porque de cierta manera nos hizo despertar y activar nuestros sensores y alertas a continuar trabajando por reforzar las bases que junto a mi esposo hemos estado construyendo cada día, de eso se trata el matrimonio, de ser cómplices en todo momento y no dejar abrir brechas que rompan la bonita magia del amor.
