I'll start with this brilliant track. To watch video, go to Vimeo.
As someone put it in comment section so well,
This tune has the power to turn whole societies on their masters.
By the year 2017 - same way as hundreds folks before me - I discovered this track was wiped off the internet. (Only shitty Bonobo remix can be found). The thing is, it contained a sample from 'Hall of the Mad Mountain King' by Apollo 100 - and unfortunately Amon didn't have rights to use it. Sample clearance issues generated this whole chain reaction of shitty consequences. But I remember! and my PC neatly keeps everything.
The song is a gem itself... but if you start by watching the promo video, then... I don’t know what the consequences might be. The promo video was directed by Italian-Canadian director Floria Sigismondi (check the full list of her works), and it is an absolute masterpiece; a monument to its epoch, an icon of style, the quintessence of dirty typography applied to the motion art.
Just beware cause you entering a dangerous area. One may label it as #anti-aesthetics or #ill-minded stuff. But keep in mind it is recognized as classic and being cited and awarded at international festivals pretty often. In case anyone has read this far, here is a nice review from Italian magazine Cultframe.com:
It is one of the most significant and disturbing visual works that Floria Sigismondi has ever created, it falls into the territory of video art rather than that of musical promotion. Sigismondi's baroque and at the same time very modern touch is always recognisable, her disturbing style is unmistakable, the evocative force of her images is always shocking. The video is an exceptional example of linguistic-expressive synthesis in the visual field, since Floria Sigismondi has developed a complex system of visual signs coming from story forms for contiguous but different images. Video technology, fashion and architecture photography, animation - everything is mixed in a complex narrative/visual mechanism.
The anguished atmosphere of the video are fueled by a series of alienating images in which individuals with an enigmatic attitude break down in a sort of deconstruction of the body. The outside world is characterized by gigantic and anonymous architecture. Everything seems hostile and cold, while the spaces are made dangerous by a huge insect that has taken its view from a sort of puzzle of industrial and urban waste. The sensation that the spectator feels is that of being faced with a strongly pessimistic story in which the human being has lost his identity, so even his body decomposes in a biological decadence that corresponds to the terrible degradation of the surrounding world.

And the last one for today. You will remember this clip, I guarantee it! Although the tune itself isnt outstanding, just good. It is Corine Stübi who directed the video and also starred in the leading role. Corine Stübi is the bomb!!
The video presents various roles that women are typically subjected to in society. Curious? Are you hooked? Watch the video and develop your own thoughts (I have no idea how do you feel or what do you think about it). Let me put here a few quotes what other folks think after acquaintance (taken from YT comment section) --
that's so surrealistic, violent and attractive at the same time... excellent!
i dont care how old it gets its still like a granade exploding in slow mo
if the dead ever walked the earth they'd be exactly like this
the ultimate robot is the human being emptied of emotion, conscience, memory, self-awareness and compassion so that all that remains is purpose. Scary thought, isn't it?
the most trippy museum ever
Imo -- this is how a museum of modern art should look like, seriously.
