Hi Everyone,
It's with great pleasure that I'm welcoming everyone to my blog and I hope you're all doing well and enjoying your day.
It's another beautiful Monday to be alive on the land of living and I'm grateful to God Almighty for the gift of life.
I started my day on good note and I couldn't take an early morning walk today because my baby boy is sick and need some rest, so I have to stay still.
The weather has been great lately and the it's been raining continuously which is good for the growth and development of the crops.
I decided to harvest one of the yam I planted some months ago as I noticed some signs like leaves turn yellow color, stem drying up gradually and that's what really prompt me to came in conclusion of harvest and also I don't want my efforts to waste because there are termites in my yard and they may eventually destroy the yam if early measure is not taken.
Even though it's just a single yam tuber harvest but I must say that I'm very much happy with what I see and I believe that the rest of the yam will also come out good.
After the harvest, I decided to replant the yam by cutting a little part from the head of the yam.
Below are the picture I took today;
Noticed some signs of maturity from the yam leaves and stem
Since we're still much in rain season, it's pretty much easier for me to harvest because the soil is still wet and not hard
I cut little part of the yam head and replant it
At the end of the day I was unable to achieve 5k actifit step count.
This is my day #858 on #iamalivechalleng and I am happy to be alive. A big thanks to @flaxz for this amazing initiative.
