Hi friends, I hope you had a relaxing slow Sunday.
It was a rainy Sunday morning here. Having stayed up late the night before, I missed my usual morning walk. Luckily, my daughter had a friend come over to play for a few hours, so I had some free time to laze and get some computer stuff done.
By late afternoon, we still had not left home, and I was far from my daily 10,000 Activity goal. We decided to head to a pump track to skate.
For me, as a 40+-year-old skater, these pump tracks are great and super fun. Easy on the knees. You use your momentum and weight to ride the bumps.
She tried her roller blades on the pump track for the first time. Cautious at first, and after a few little falls, she was zipping around the track.
One thing I love about Hive is that I make progress toward my goals by doing things I enjoy. Here are some Hive highlights:
I participated in the Alive Chat August 7, 2022 - Daily Prize Drawing OPEN For Entries - Today's Topic: Share Your Hive Goals and shared an update on the goals I set last week. I also was delighted to see that I was a winner in the daily prize drawing. I will put my delegated hive power to good use.
I surpassed my 10,000 Actifit Activity for 13 days in a row. I also made the 500 spot in the Actifit Overall Top 500 Leaderboard
- I wrote and posted a short 50 word story: Bliss | A ZapFic Friday Story Submission
- Today is my 31st #Actifit report and 21st consecutive day of participating in the #IAmAliveChallenge! I am happy to report I am #AliveAndThriving.
I tried to take some pics of these colorful chickens and roosters but they moved very quickly.
