I always knew that pine tree seeds needed to "stratify" as they call it, with a cold winter...

Yep, most temperate plants require cold to be able to go through their reproductive cycle successfully. Some even need it to survive. Yes, stratification is necessary for the seeds of many temperate plants to germinate. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
