Hold On, I See A Dip Up Ahead!š³
Tread carefully Silvertopā¦.. you might be headed towards a steep drop off!š³
Steep trails are one of the reasons I Love hiking in the Mountains!š
Combine the rugged trails, with a steep incline, and it definitely gives me a good workout!š
Today I headed to the āHigh Trailā a steep climb with the view you can see in my last hiking photo!
āSanta, it looks like you have fresh snow on the Canadian Mountains off in the distance!
Santa is going to need some help up North, Silvertop has heard Canada Post is not delivering anythingā¦.. they are on strike!š
Of course Santa has own delivery service!š
They say ā variety is a space of lifeā!
Once I reached the ridge top today, I took a seldom used trail that connects with Keith and Lynneās private road.
Liz will probably correct me, but I believe this āDrivewayā is 1.9 miles long!š®
Itās also full of steep hills, and numerous hairpin switchbacks, that makes its way to the top of the mountain!š¤
Halfway up this gravel road, on the left, as you climb uphill, is a small trail that you could very easily missā¦ā¦ā¦..
Silvertop hasnāt taken this trail in Months!āŗļø
Daylight is at a premium being only eight days from the Winter Solstice, so Silvertop didnāt want to hike too far down this very dark and secluded trailā¦ā¦..
This is also a very popular location with our furry forest friends with BIG teeth, and SHARP claws!šŗ
So close to Christmas, Silvertop really doesnāt want to be a dinner present for one of our local Cougars!š³šŗ
Times upā¦ā¦ thatās a wrap for today, I needed to vacate the forest before it was too dark!š®

No internetā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦.
Thatās OKā¦. I put my iPhone back in my pocket. Silvertop was outside enjoying the Mountains, BTC can waitā¦ā¦ā¦.
