“ Silvertop our friend Jan is back from vacation, I will see if she wants to hike with us today! “😊
The “June-U-ary” rains temporarily stopped this afternoon, it looked like a good time for a hike!😇
Liz and Silvertop stepped outside our driveway gate, and we spotted Jan hiking up the road to join us!😀
Jan has been on vacation for the last three weeks, it was nice to have everyone hiking together again!
Todays plan, was a short hike up to the first pond, we knew that our chances of getting rained on heavily, were pretty good!😅
We had only hiked several hundred feet when the rains started…….
For a brief moment, Liz was going to have Silvertop return back home for her umbrella……😮
“ Guys…. Is Silvertop the only one here that packed a raincoat Lol? “ 😇
“ Never mind Silvertop, I think the rain has stopped again Lol! “
“ For now Liz……”🤣
We almost made it to Keith and Lynne’s garden, when we heard the sound of goats…………
Suddenly a herd of goats came wandering out to the three of us on the road!🙄
Liz and Jan, herded these goats back down the gravel road to their home.
A knock on the door and the owner of the goats came to the door, he apologize for them being loose and helped herd them home……
As we departed, getting ready to continue our hike, you could hear the sound of the goats coming down the driveway to join us a second time!
“ Uh…. honey, the goats are loose again! “🙄
Three times we repeated this scenario Lol!😇
Finally we were able to escape, and we quietly hiked onward to Keith and Lynne’s garden, and the pond.
With the possibility of a cold Spring…….I mean Summer Lol, a large greenhouse like this is the answer to growing vegetables!👍
Just check out the tomato plants inside this greenhouse, they are just loaded with tiny tomatoes!🤗
Nice!!!
For the Pacific Northwest, these plants are light years ahead of any outdoor garden!😎
