The Sky is the Limit! ☺️
With one more rainstorm “under our belt” for the year, the Sun started peaking out from behind the clouds today!😎
Yesterday the sound of trees swaying in the forest from this strong storm was eerie…………….
Today was dead calm…………
Leaves from “Big Leaf Maples covered the forest floor.
In Silvertop’s front yard stands a tall “Bloodgood” Japanese maple tree.
As a kid, Silvertop called the seeds from Maple trees “helicopters”, because they rotated in circles as they descend to the ground.😊
Many of these baby Bloodgood “helicopters” have taken root in the grass in our front yard!😊
“ Silvertop you haven’t mowed the front yard have you, we have baby Japanese maple trees, everywhere! “🥰
😳……………..
I started to mark the location of each baby tree, and quickly realized we have so many, they are everywhere!🙄
Liz tells me she plans to dig each one up and replant them in the tree nursery!
It looks like we will have many Bloodgood Japanese maples!🤗
“ Hike today Silvertop? “🥰
“Absolutely Liz!”
There is something magical about the forest after a storm in the Pacific Northwest!
Years ago when Liz and Silvertop had two Dalmatian/ blue healer dogs, you could watch them with their noses pointed upwards sniffing the fresh air!
That was today, clean fresh Mountain air, the Mountains were calling!😇😊
“ Hike today Liz Absolutely! “ 🥰
Till tomorrow Silvertop Mike 😊
