After we had a wonderful multi course dinner at the Inn at Langley, we came back to our room, and I put a log into the fireplace.
It was a very peaceful ending to a great evening. We opened the sliding door to the waterfront, and we could hear the sound of waves right below our room.
In the morning, we woke up to this beautiful view right outside our window.
We had a wonderful breakfast at the Inn. It is free but much better than a standard continental breakfast.
This breakfast featured salmon lox, fresh squeezed juices, and many other tasty items.
After breakfast, we headed to the spa at the Inn at Langley. There, we had a very nice steam shower, and afterward, I had a really nice massage while my wife had a facial.
We spent some time walking around downtown Langley.
We also visited the town of Freeland, where we stopped by the new store: Sweet Sisters. They make a really nice shampoo, conditioner, facial wash, and all over wash as well as other products.
It is locally made on Whidbey Island and has become our go-to product line for these types of products.
We had a nice lunch at Primo Bistro at Langley, and it was time to head back home.
Our wonderful gateway came to its end.
