So I am nearing a month using Actifit! On October 14th would be exactly a month since I posted my first Actifit Report.
I am planning a post analyzing my fitness results based on my weight chart over this month.
One thing is clear we can't be fit playing Splinterlands all day no matter how much we love it. We need to get out there and be more active to balance our modern sedentary lifestyle.
Naturally, there's a lot more to losing weight than taking more steps, but what is already clear to me is that having an app and having to post daily walking reports is definitely keeping me accountable and motivated to get as many steps per day as I can!
Being more active on a daily basis makes me feel better, and I believe, adds up over a long period of time, which might be longer than one month.
There were other factors involved as well, for example, our trip to San Diego, where I was really enjoying food at restaurants and finishing up dishes after my ladies.
I am also in a very challenging period at work where I had to put in long hours sitting at my desk supporting our website before and during the presidential election.
I am also preparing for a panel interview at work, which will decide if I am getting a major promotion.
Despite all these challenges, I can already tell you that I have been walking more than at any time in the last five years. That is why I am happy to be involved in the Actifit community!
