Big activity count day for me, first up it was Tokyo Bay parkrun, photo credit to parkrun volunteer photographer. I am in the middle on the right side of the guy in the red jacket and yellow first timer sign. It was a great morning run with a small, friendly local crew and a handful of tourists. We had decided on this parkrun for our Tokyo section of this trip as we could get a reasonably priced hotel with walking distance to the course and an easy train ride into town for some other sight seeing.
After parkrun, shower, and a change of clothes, we explored the local area of
Urayasu.
This was a free open aired exhibition or folk museum of Urayasu, fishing village before they reclaimed a big area of Tokyo Bay and turned it into more housing as well as the home of Tokyo Disneyland.
Inside one of the displays, which used to be a tobacco shop, which was popular with the local fisherman right up to the 1980s
