The afternoon was filled with birthday cheer!

He had a thoughtful gift bag for each child, filled with raisins and a bell jar.
And of course, we enjoyed a delicious cake together.
To get my steps in and enjoy some fresh air, I took the youngest outside for a while.
I noticed the newly installed bat boxes.
Due to recent construction, there's a focus on preserving local wildlife.
With some old buildings demolished, these bat boxes offer a much-needed home for these creatures.
Hopefully, they'll be well-populated soon.
