Lately, the rain and cold spring weather had me feeling down.
But a little sunshine and a positive attitude can truly transform your day!
Today, the kids at school and I were thrilled to finally get outside for a walk with some parent volunteers.
In the Netherlands, we have specific rules for supervision during outings.
With 14 children, we needed at least 4 adults.
Thankfully, two parents joined my colleague and me.
Our destination was the village playground, where the kids had a blast on the slides, seesaws, and climbing towers.
Prioritizing Myself: A Positive Change
Working in service professions, I often put others first, neglecting my own needs.
My day starts with thinking about others, and I prioritize their needs before mine.
Recently, I've realized this isn't always reciprocated.
So, I'm making a positive change by prioritizing myself more.
Taking care of myself started with buying healthy groceries today, putting myself at #1!
After work, I'll also have a good dinner before helping others.
This weekend, our village has a festival, and I volunteered to help with setup today and tomorrow, and during the event on Saturday and Sunday.
It's a packed schedule, but a positive attitude, sunshine, and high energy helped me conquer the day.
I even reached my step goal with ease, and a good night's sleep awaits!
Wishing you all the best in life and much health.
