As i finished up my early morning chores today, i, bathed and dressed up to attend the burial of my friend's father.
On my way, at Obikabia junction, i captured this very statue which is the representation of a late icon of our land who constructed several solid roads in my city and state at large.
According to our fathers and history as well, the late icon Mr Ururuka was the one who constructed the first tarred road in my city and up to date, those roads he commissioned and constructed has been in good shape till date.
As i continued my journey to my friend's house, i also met obstacle that delayed my movement for hours.
Did you notice the prove of heavy rainfall? Anyway, am not surprised because, here in my locality, its their common routine to magnet water from the sky to make sure the deceased family or friends will give them money. Anyway, I don't know if its a superstitious belief or reality. But all i know is that ecen uf it's raining, on e they give money to certain set of people, it will automatically stop. Its all left for them.
It rained for hours before it subsided. Thats why before i could reach the burial ground, they have already bury the deceased and the people that dug ground was already covering his grave.
After sympathizing with my friend and her family, i boarded a tricycle back home. Towards evening, i
visited my farm and my garden to check on my plants to know how they are doing as it rained heavily.
I came back home by 7:00pm and was feeling so exhausted thats why i couldn't drop any post yesterday.
Meanwhile, am glad that i was able ro achieve 5k+ steps for my today's actifit report.
Good night friends.
I love you all.
