Hey Actifitters,
For the last day of 2024, we started our long walk much earlier than usual, because I needed 31k for #poprzeczka, and most importantly the weather forecast said it would rain most day. As often these days, we started behind the front yard.
Kaia was looking for Le Chat but there was no chance she'd find her, as she was inside complaining about too much light 'Turn it off '...
We quickly went to the forest of course. Kaia could chase critters instead of Le Chat.
We were surprised as it was still not raining, so we kept going further in the forest, all the way to the teepees.
No surprise, Kaia had to inspect them again.
We also followed that trail until we reached this other one that we usually avoid because it's too close to the road behind it.
Kaia knew that if we got really close to that road, I'd have to put the leash back on just in case. So she rushed in the other direction, clever girl!
We still had a few hours before the new year but several friends and family in Europe called while they made the switch to 2025. That brought quite a few more steps, more than enough for #poprzeczka.
Finally, the end of the year wasn't too fancy this time. We just had a great raclette dinner. I know it's not very 'end of year' traditional, but it's so good! And very easy to prepare too. And of course, it goes well with good wine too! Just like most people I know, I find food pics utterly useless, but here's one anyways, in case anybody wants to see what a raclette sample looks like.

PS: Actifit acting up again, so I'll try and edit with the photos later. With their dapp being so unstable (crashes multiple times a day) and of course their shameful abuse of the OCD curation, it's sometimes difficult to like this dapp. But it's been my main entry to Hive for years now...
