Hey Actifitters,
Surprisingly I didn't feel too sore yesterday, but I wasn't too motivated for activities. So with the weather sunny again, it was a good opportunity to just chill in the yard.
And when it comes to chilling, nobody's better than Le Chat! She tried pretending she wasn't sleeping, but she didn't fool anybody.
I know I shared a lot of photos of the yard, but I really like to follow the fall colors and their progression, from the first signs of yellow, to the final fading brownish color.
It probably makes Kaia's job more difficult, trying to find new scents under all these leaves.
Apparently Le Chat wanted to help, but as usual, it didn't last long, she just rested in the lawn.
Just like the day before, the temperature was quite high for the season, so we waited until after nightfall for our daily walk.
As often, Kaia quickly disappeared in the darkness, chasing some critters.
She came back a few minutes later, all huffing and puffing.
I doubt they will finish these constructions before winter. I have no idea why it takes so long.
Walking back in the quiet neighborhood, we met again a group of deer.
These two didn't flee, they just looked at Kaia until we were far enough.
And once again, we were joined by Le Chat a few blocks from home. She took the lead as though we didn't know where to go.
And that was it. Kind of a lazy day, I guess that was the real recovery day after the half marathon. Now let's get back into the usual walking routine, and start adding back a few runs here and there.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
