Hey Actifitters,
Like I mentioned, the summer heat is unfortunately back and yesterday was indeed very hot and humid. I know it's all relative and it may not be that bad compared to many places in the world, but for us, it's very uncomfortable and once again, Le Chat yawning as loud as she could on the cover pic was a great description of the mood. But we tried our best to join her outside with many short breaks in the yard, it's the best technique when it's hot.
That gets us moving and even Le Chat gets to move a bit because she wants to hang out with her sister.
But when Kaia decides she wants to do her guard dog job and inspect the yard, that might be a bit too much for Le Chat.
We waited until much later for our daily walk, in the hopes of finding cooler temps.
But it was still quite warm, so we just walked in the neighborhood for about an hour. I just didn't have the will power to fight the mosquitoes in the forest.
Just a few more hot days and we'll hopefully be done with summer. I know it's opposite to most people, but I hate summer and just can't wait for winter!
