Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday could not have been more normal, just a typical work day. And once again, we waited too much for our long walk of the day with Kaia. But in the yard, when we saw the sun so low on the horizon, it was our cue.
We quickly went to the small forest behind the front yard. It was obviously too late to actually catch the whole sunset, but the colors were still great.
They were pretty cool on our way to our usual forest too.
When we did get to our forest, the sun was down, but we could still see glimpses of the residual colors behind the trees.
Pretty sure Kaia didn't care about any of that, she just wanted to run off-leash!
We made our usual loop outside the forest to catch Cubiverse vaults. Good excuse to enjoy more sunset colors too.
As often, it was pretty dark when we went back inside the forest to walk a few more trails.
We followed that with a few more miles in the neighborhood. I like it when the sunset colors linger a really long time after sunset. It's partly due to the clouds but there may be other reasons.
In the last part of our walk, the clouds opened up a little and revealed the Moon. Still slightly veiled, but majestic as always.
Like I said, nothing special again about this day, but we were pretty active, that's of course a good thing.
