Hey Actifitters,
Like I mentioned in my previous report, I arrived at my destination yesterday early afternoon. And we didn't waste much time. After a quick bite, and in spite of an extreme lack of sleep, we started a long walk with my mother and her dog Sam.
These are the only clouds we could see in an otherwise perfectly blue sky.
It was still early in the afternoon but the Moon was already out.
We quickly went to the open fields, it's always more enjoyable than walking in the streets.
And with better views in my opinion.
Sam was leading the way. He gets daily walks all the time but he knows the walks are longer when I am around.
Like every day, the sun started its descent.
That brought some nice colors on my favorite hills.
That tree is said to be very old, easily over a hundred years old. But I don't think Sam really cared about that when he went to sniff it.
We continued on a different trail while the sun got smaller behind the hills.
Until it disappeared leaving some pinkish colors and the Moon to take over.
I think Sam had lots of fun. What do you think?
But it wasn't over, even after the sunset, the visibility stayed good for a while. That means more time in the fields for us.
Near the end, we met this horse. It didn't even acknowledge us, and kept eating its dinner. On sunny days like that, I'm sure it sees plenty of people, so it's used to it.
One more view with the last pinkish hues and a tiny Moon, and then back to the streets and back home.
Like I said, Sam is used to walks, but that was a lot for his small legs (compared to Kaia or Genepi of course). He was tired, which is a good thing.
Well, for a first half day back here, it was very nice. I'm very grateful my mother is still able to walk like that at her age. We're actually hoping to go for longer hikes with more elevation in the next few days. Sam will of course follow us everywhere we end up going.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
