Weather is very unpredictable these days. You can feel the super hot weather in an hour, and storms the next.
Because of that, it actually has been many months since I last washed my car (because no point planning a wash only to hit a storm of ash rain the next 30 mins) and when the opportunity of getting free car wash for 30 mins on a rare day of rest, I jumped to it immediately.
Because it was a free service, the facility wasn't treated nicely. The indifference attitude using on public utility is quite disappointing.
It took me a whole 5 mins to find out where was the problem because the water was gushing out at the tap instead of the end, only to find our there were several knots along the super long hose 🤦♀️
Even though I lost a lot of time trying to untangle the hose, I still manage to get around 80% clean of my car, but it think I need to use wax next round to just buff it up. Time to look out for 11.11 sale soon.
To treat my achievement washing my car after getting myself 30% wet because of the high powered hose, I walked an extra 200m away from the free vicinity to reward me some deep pan pancakes.
They are called Apam Balik in Malay and they also have the crunchy version, bigger, but less sweet than the Thai version or the Indonesian Martabak Manis
The price has definitely gone up since childhood days where usually the Chinese speaking community sells it for a fraction of the price, but since we should support local, and the young entrepreneur is trying out his carrier as a hawker, splurging with these once a while is acceptable.
Besides, all the calories are burnt with car wash, I can sneak a small piece and leave the rest to the elderly as a treat for them 😁
