When God provides, there's always something that HE is trying to teach me.
And today, it is gratefulness and paying it forward.
By the grace of God, if it is being totally "leg-less" for a month when my car is "hospitalised" I would have to spend a lot more to get from point A to point B just for work; but by the Grace and favour of my ABA FATHER in Heaven, not only I was offered help to get the best mechanic, I had the privilege to have an emergency car to drive, even for ministry work for the time being.
Uncle Cheong hardly drives the car, but it is a powerful Honda Jazz. I always wanted to test drive this car, but because of price this car has been been shoved to the very end of my mind ever since it was launched.
Being able to have a feel of this model has been a privilege, and surprisingly even with all the traffic jam, barely any petrol (gas) was used. Very fuel efficient car indeed, not to mention powerful.
My own sedan is greatly underpowered compared to this car.
However, my heart has been troubled to see the condition of the car, and when Celcius finally reimburses some of my lost investments, though I can't pay for my full repairs of my own car, I was tugged greatly in my heart to repay the kindness of uncle and aunty Cheong who trusted me to use their car even after thr minor mishap.
So I have decided to send the car for some thorough TLC (tender loving care) by sending it to a nice shower.
Only to realise because it was so badly scratched throughout the years, and it does smell like an old damp old house, the word "fix it" was instilled in my heart.
I knew that uncle and aunty deserves as much comfort because many years ago, back in 2015, I received a miraculous makeover when I lend my little Pegasus to their grandson for 3 weeks when he needed to learn to drive for his license, while I was away on missions conference.
So it is just to surprise uncle Cheong was a God thing to do. He deserves the best for bringing up the best daughter and grandson.
I know it does look a bit blur, but the interior condition looks really bad shape. If there's a reconditioning the dashboard and the sides work, next time when my car is worn out I can send it here as well.
Initially I was just thinking of just doing that, but Aba Father disagree. Uncle Cheong's generous heart deserves much more.
I just hope he doesn't go upset with me cleaning up his entire car... 😅
But this is definitely going to clear all the dead foul molding air that has been stuck in there for a really long time.
Health is important
Moreover, I still need this transportation to send my mom to the hospital for her follow up as well.
Until Then
Stay healthy, stay curious and learn new things, and stay happy!
