My Actifit Report Card: October 17 2024: Alive and Thriving Thursday!

Hello friends and a happy Thursday evening I wish you, and also wish to thank you for your visit!

This is a report for today's activities! I don't see me making many more steps today so I decided to go ahead and post as I have not posted in #actifit all week!

And so some highlights of my Thursday, and since yesterday was Stormy - I wanted to get in some activity!

So after the normal morning chores and I ate breakfast I rode the Black bike over to the Park,

And a photo of me along the way,

I wanted to take a look over there - also, as soon as I leave here and climb the hill I have a mile on the clock - a great start!

So first a look out over the Channel,

See the plane in the Clouds?
A little closer,

And a lot closer and up, up, and away!

And a morning view of the Fishing Pier,

I caught an Egret, a Willet, and a Seagull hanging around together,

The Seagull hopped on a pole as the others left,

So after awhile I left there and went a few miles down the Channel. I found these Morning Glories blooming along a fence,

And a bit closer,

And a few views from this area!
This is a look at the Bridge in the JFK Causeway, and the turn sign

This is actually important - especially if you are new here or don't live here, and people have gotten killed. The road makes a sharp "U Turn" right there. The sign is literally on the edge. "If" you miss this turn you "Will" land in the Channel!
You can see there it's a few cars width, but as you make the turn it slims down to about a half a cars width!
A look over to the other Shore,

After this ride I rode home, did a few more chores and took a short nap!
Then I decided to take the Black bike out again. I wanted to take out the Green bike - but the 20+mph winds convinced me otherwise!
So I headed back to the Park, here is the afternoon Skies,

And a look towards the Water Treatment Plant,

And something I don't normally see, the Fishing Pier is full of Fishermen!

So then I left there and headed down N.A.S. Drive,

And then over to the Shopping Center, I love the way the Sun Rays are coming through the Clouds,

And after all that I headed home to post!
