Brisk walking as I head back home,made me slow down a bit to mingle with these beauties. Mostly called them JUST WEEDS,mine - I call them, eye FEEDS (food for the eye). Beauty is everywhere,we just need to open our minds widely. We tend to disregard some of God's creation due to it's worth. For an instance, these roadside weeds that bloom proudly even without careful cultivation and tending.
Our lack of gratitude and appreciation for these God's given gift leads us to a somewhat pathetic state. Isn't it ironic that we usually buy plants,cultivate it carefully and tend it regularly but still - sometimes it didn't thrive. On the other hand ,weeds that were just sprouted on the roadside keep on thriving despite lack of care and cultivation.
Sadly, we as humans are like plants and weeds. Often we are placed in a situation with less appreciation. Must be due to our humble upbringing, our time and talents are less visible from those discriminating minds of colleagues,superiors or Bosses.
Sometimes, the effort and energy we've invested to make the job well done was being PICKED and credited to other shameless human who harvested our hard earned works. We might feel worthless being kept behind sometimes, must be due to our race and less famous family and educational background,but trust God and believe and yourself. One day, you will thrive and bloom where ever God may placed you. Let us keep our faith in God's fate, be Grateful for his reward will be GREAT. Keep going!🦵💪🙏😇🌱🍀
