For my last weekend off for this month, I joined this forest hike through La Fageda d'en Jordà, which is fill of beech trees growing on the cooled lava flow from the Croscat volcano. Hiking further up would lead you to what now is like a meadow of the crater of Santa Margarida!
The adventure doesn't stop there as after, we got to stopover the small cliff town of Castefollit de la Roca, and to get the best experience from the hike, it's best to start from the bottom, crossing along the bridge over the Fluvia River and a short trek through the cliffside pathways! A very fulfilling day out in nature indeed!
