Busy Saturday
Last week, we had 4 GP doctors on duty at a time. Today Saturday, I worked as a single GP (General Practitioner). One doctor's weekly off today. One doctor went to the nearby clinic as a replacement doctor. Another doctor was sent to another clinic in another city. Hence, I had to manage alone today!
It was a bit busy and tiring duty. I consulted 56 patients in my chamber. Alhamdulillah, there was no emergency case. But, the patients came one after another without any gap, especially middle 3-4 hours in each shift. There were above 10 paediatric cases. Most of the patients came with fever, cold, cough, body pain, headache, etc.
Today I worked for 11 hours and a half; the total clinic hours. It was 2 hours and a half more than other days. I couldn't go to the mosque for the noon, evening and night prayers due to the continued flow of patients.
24 people came for the visa medical check-up. I had to examine them. So, I needed to run between my chamber (the first floor) and the visa medical section (the ground floor) multiple times. This helped me get 8k plus steps today.
