Went lo the hospital today. Feeling weak and told the doctor I was feeling anaemic that's why I came. She looked at me and asked if I'm a doctor, I said no. She asked if I am a nurse, I answered no. She asked if I'm a health worker I said no. Then she asked why I'm using their terms. I said, well, I searched online and the results that came with my symptoms suggested that I'm anaemic.
She asked me of my symptoms. I told her all about it. Felt light headed about twice within the week whiles I was walking. I felt dizzy and it appeared like I was in a daze or I was spinning. I also felt dizzy twice when I got up from sitting on a stool. She asked if I was nauseous I said no. She asked if I had headaches I said no. She asked if I had a problem eating, I answered no.
She suggested I go to the lab for a scan. They took my blood and did their things, I went back to her and she checked the results. She said I had more than enough blood. My blood count was 14.6. she said hers was 10 so I was way above her. I told her I wanted a blood tonic and she said nope, she wouldn't give me one.
I asked if she can give me something to sleep better. I'm on the night shift and it's difficult sleeping during the daytime. I have to make my room as dark as possible to be able to sleep. She then gave me one. A sleeping tablet. I didn't even take it when I got home. I really dont like medication, except when it's a blood tonic.
I might need to get one of those cloth things that's used to cover the eyes. I will need one. I'm happy to be alive and well.
