Anyone have any ideas? I’ll explain here in a bit!
Today was my last workday in 2024. It was a good day with an interesting twist. So the first appointment for the day was a no show; my coworker was late as was the doc. I was the only one on time today, lol! I thought about telling them they were all fired! 🤣 I was able to keep things up and flowing once the appointments really started. It’s nice to know that there isn’t a ton of jobs left over for 2024 to start out my 2025! Ironically, the last appointment of the day was a no show. 😏 The real irony of that was the patient came in about 2 hours before to pick up glasses I’d had to work some magic on, and just never came back. I can’t quite figure out why he didn’t wait until the appointment. 🙃
So now, I’m in the home stretch of the coming end to 2024. I suppose it’s been a good year-maybe could have been better and certainly could have been much worse. I can’t really complain; I’m happy to be alive with a roof over my head; a job; food and necessities plus of course, my best friend @silvertop. What more could I need?
So back to the first picture. As some may know, we spent Christmas with our youngest son and his wife. They live in North Bend, very close to Snoqualmie. We visited the infamous Snoqualmie Falls. This first pic is a zoomed in look at the backlash of water after it hits the 270 foot drop! It’s pretty amazing!
When I posted my original post about the trip, the video would not upload. I discovered last night uploading another video, that it appears to be working. So, here’s the video of the falls. Just listen to all that power!
Pretty amazing! We noticed a bouquet of flowers that had been laid or tossed over the fence before the drop off. I’m guessing either someone climbed over the fence and slipped and fell or that someone purposely jumped. I really hope I’m wrong.
It it’s a beautifully dangerous area if you go out of safety bounds. I wonder if there is a safe way down so you could see another perspective? Regardless, I think you’d end up drenched. Even standing in the observation areas, you got pretty wet from the mist.
Tomorrow sees us running a couple errands and since we have gift cards for Starbucks, we will be making a stop for some refreshment! 😁☕️
That’s gonna be it for now. Take care and enjoy the weekend and the final days of 2024! 🌎🙏🌎

Luke 2:21-24
Eight days later, when the baby was circumcised, he was named Jesus, the name given him by the angel even before he was conceived.
Then it was time for their purification offering, as required by the law of Moses after the birth of a child; so his parents took him to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord. The law of the Lord says, “If a woman’s first child is a boy, he must be dedicated to the LORD.” So they offered the sacrifice required in the law of the Lord—“either a pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons.”
