For some, 2025 has already arrived! For me-not just yet.
We spent the last day of the year doing a couple things that needed doing-like putting together the foldable exercise bike I got @silvertop, for Christmas. I had ordered it in the hope it might help his back/leg/knee/calf thing he’s had going on since the beginning of October. I also was hoping it’d give me an opportunity to get some exercise on my work days and on those rainy days when I refuse to hike/swim outdoors! See @silvertop’s post for some pics of it.
After that was accomplished and he had time to use it, we set out for our coffee date at Starbucks.
The coffee and delectables were good; the company even better.
What’s in the bag?
Since we took Michael and Christine’s presents down to Bill and Agi’s last week, it was now time to take Bill and Agi’s to Michael and Christine’s! Unfortunately, Christine is sick, so a visit wasn’t possible. I set the gifts at their front door, knocked to let her know and also texted her so she’d get them. Afterwards, we stopped at Safeway to pick up a few perishables as well as milk for @silvertop’s lattes! Then we headed home.
This is not the same as the first picture of Mt. Baker-our resident sleeping giant overdue to erupt!
Once home, I did the bike for over 30 minutes to polish off my workout for the day.
