That might be what Cot is asking as he sits in a very large cardboard box! I can remember other children who couldn’t wait for Christmas and Santa! We spent Monday, Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with one of those children-Bill and his wife Agi. Bill is our youngest and whereas he’s not so little anymore, it was very nice to have this time together.
Yesterday, he drove us to a couple of places he likes-one being Snoqualmie Falls. We were fortunate to find a parking spot and then walked over a busy roadway on a pedestrian bridge to get to the park.
If you remember Twin Peaks, a short lived TV show airing from 1990-1991, was filmed on location here. The falls were a mainstay of the show.
A slightly varied view but almost the same.
This waterfall fuels a hydroelectric plant and drops almost 270 feet to the bottom! The sound of it is magnificent and from where the observation areas are, you get wet from the spray of the falls. The whole experience is invigorating! I was going to put a video in so you could listen, but apparently 3Speak is not working once again. 🙄
I will try to put it in on another post in the near future.
After all of outdoor adventures, we were headed back to their place, but first, a stop at a German Chocolatier!
I don’t have any pics of the inside, but suffice it to say, this is a chocolate lover’s dream! No calories here!!
Once back at their home, Bill and Agi set to work finishing up Christmas dinner. Watching them work in the kitchen is like watching a choreographed dance!
I helped as well, but couldn’t take a pic of that, lol!
Dinner was amazing! We had duck, lamb, ham, green bean casserole, roasted veggies, mashed potatoes with gravy and some homemade crescent rolls!
We were all so stuffed-even Banjo had trouble staying upright, lol!
This morning was kind of sad as I always hate to leave them. After saying our goodbyes, we left and headed out for the long drive back. 😔
We arrived about 3 hours later and got the car unloaded. Then it was time for @silvertop’s and my Christmas!
It’s been a lovely Christmas! I look forward to our next visit with Bill and Agi whenever that occurs.
That’s gonna be it for now. I hope your Christmas was wonderful! Merry Christmas everybody! 😇🙏🎄🎁 🙏🌎🙏

KJV Matthew 2:1-3
[1] Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
[2] Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
[3] When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
