Goodbye……..My Actifit Report Card: August 30 2024

in Actifit19 days ago (edited)

I set out for work this morning knowing the day was heavily booked and that it was also Donna’s last day with us. I’d gotten her a flowering plant, a coffee gift card and a thank you card.

We were busy-seriously so, but she worked like it wasn’t her last day. She helped me immensely as I was trying to make sure I had little to no overflow of work for next week. I’m not really 100% sure if Yana will be back on Wednesday. If she is, then Thursday and Friday will be on my own with booked appointment days and no help. It’s possible the doc has asked his mom to add hours, but he doesn’t always communicate which can be frustrating or she may not want to. Honestly, it’s possible that I’d do better by myself, at least for processing patients; the actual ordering and whatnot plus some admin duties would just have to wait until whenever.

Donna was a good worker and I will miss her. Hopefully we can get together and have coffee sometime. I wish her luck in her endeavors.

I had no time fore outside adventures, so I raided my archives again. Enjoy!

Firewood is ready, but Mother Nature has plunged us back into summertime for now.

That’s it for today. I’m a little better and of course, just as I am, @silvertop has come down with it! 🙄 I’m hoping we aren’t going to share it back and forth for the next few weeks! That would be a pain for sure! Sleep is what he needs and can get that I couldn’t, so maybe it will be short lived with him.

Take care and enjoy the weekend! 🙏🙏🇸🇻🇺🇦

Is she going on her retirement or changing job?

Looks like you are having busy times at work!

Unfortunately, we just hired her 6 months ago, but she needed more money and more hours to make ends meet for her health insurance cost. She was hired as my assistant, and now I'm back to just me. The other coworkers are family to the doc, and they just view themselves as 'helping out' and don't have the same viewpoint of the work.

He's looking for another person again, but this time, I'm waiting to see if they stick around longer than 6 months before really doing any in depth training. I understand why Donna left and I wish her the best. She was perfect for the job we had for her. Such is life.

Thank you for inquiring. Take care and have a lovely day! !LADY

Hey @silversaver888, sis! Donna was with us just 6 months. She needed more money and more hours to help cover her health insurance. Her new job is providing health coverage at no cost to her, so I can't blame her for doing what's best for herself. I will miss her. I'm back to where I started now.

I never missed work; I work sick regardless as there is literally nobody who knows how to do what I do. It does really suck sometimes, but Donna was going to be my backup for situations like this, and I had her in my eye as a replacement for when I do retire. I think I will be lucky if she's replaced by the end of the year. I've already told the doc I will not do any in depth training until I'm sure whoever he does hire, stays longer than 6 months.

Much love to you sis!🤗❤️🌹 !PIMP
