…..DEER!
I got up this morning and as I was walking past the patio doors, what greeted me was that first picture! So precious; a mother deer and her newborn fawn! Mama kind of wandered here and there, but I moved on to get coffee going.
@silvertop a little later, called me to the doors. The little one had wandered towards the house. We couldn’t see mom. As we stood there, the little fawn spied us. Curiosity got the better of him/her? and it moved closer. The look on the face was one of curiosity! The longer we stood inside, the closer it came! At one point, the little fawn was no more than 5 feet away!
Such a sweet baby! Here’s another of the two.
It was raining ☔️ again which wasn’t originally called for, but I was grateful for the garden. I spent most of my day on continuing education for opticians and then some on another online project I’m working on. It’s been a quiet but productive day for me.
Tomorrow finds the start of my workweek. I am already looking forward to Friday! 😁 Saturday brings something new and I’ll post about that then.
