The gigantic Atlantic perturbation that engulfed the entire Scandinavian peninsula has projected its arms to the edges of Western Sahara recalling warm desert winds on the Italian peninsula that have stabilized the sky and filled with dust atmospheric the horizon.
The temperature of the air began to warm up in the early hours of the morning making it impossible to do any outdoor activities during the day and therefore I went out only in the evening.
We arrived without almost finding traffic all the way by car towards the end of the Beverello pier where we parked the vehicle took some nice photos of a lovely harbor lit by the evening lights.
The lighting of public places I must say that this year is quite insufficient and this sometimes affects the shots in the most beautiful places especially here where there is the Royal Basilica of San Francesco di Paola in Piazza del Plebiscito.
To be honest I must say that there were not many people in Naples also because during the months of July and August most of the population of the city migrates to the seaside resorts given the unbearable summer heat that for ten years is particularly intense both in July and August.
After passing Piazza Trieste and Trento we turned into Via Chiaia where we could admire the famous Arch in its greatest splendor after a valuable renovation.
Via Chiaia emerges, after crossing a tree-lined avenue, in the beautiful Piazza dei Martiri characterized by its spectacular buildings built in neoclassical architecture.
Crossed a semi-deserted municipal villa we finally arrived on the seafront where we cheered a refreshing sea breeze.
The Gulf of Naples was full of private boats and yachts of considerable size while the beach below was celebrating a celebration of a consular community that has plunged into the sea since the temperatures reached 26 degrees.
From afar giganteggiava, in the middle of the sea, the silhouette of Castel dell'Ovo enveloped by a metal scaffold that slowly will cover it all since they finally decided to renovate the spectacular building that makes the city panorama truly unique in the world.
After a while we resumed the journey back home witnessing with this shot the crowding of restaurants in the pedestrian area of Via Partenope on Saturday night.
But before walking to the car we took a ride in Borgo Marinari from where you could see a promenade wrapped in the enchanting lights of the night.
Just as I was passing by the marvelous fountain of the giant, it was time to greet the extraordinary pioneers of the Hive blockchain who came between the lines of my weekend report Actifit.
Un giro a 360° tra le bellezze del quartiere di Chiaia.
La gigantesca perturbazione Atlantica che ha inghiottito l'intera penisola scandinava ha proiettato i suoi bracci fino ai bordi del Sahara occidentale richiamando venti caldi dal deserto sulla penisola italiana che hanno stabilizzato il cielo e riempito di pulviscolo atmosferico l'orizzonte.
La temperatura dell'aria ha cominciato a riscaldarsi già nelle prime ore del mattino rendendo impossibile qualsiasi attività all'aperto durante la giornata e perciò che sono uscito solamente di sera.
Siamo arrivati senza quasi trovare traffico lungo tutto il tragitto in macchina verso la fine del molo Beverello dove abbiamo parcheggiato il veicolo è scattato alcune belle foto di un incantevole porto illuminato dalle luci della sera.
L'illuminazione delle luoghi pubblici devo dire che quest'anno è alquanto insufficiente e ciò a volte pregiudica gli scatti nei luoghi più belli specialmente qui dove c'è la Basilica Reale di San Francesco di Paola a Piazza del Plebiscito.
Ad essere onesto devo dire che non c'era moltissima gente a Napoli anche perché durante i mesi di luglio ed agosto la maggior parte della popolazione della città migra verso le località balneari vista l'insopportabilità della calura estiva che da dieci anni a questa parte è particolarmente intensa sia a luglio che ad agosto.
Dopo aver superato piazza Trieste e Trento abbiamo svoltato per via Chiaia dove abbiamo potuto ammirare il famoso Arco nel massimo del suo splendore dopo una pregevole ristrutturazione.
Via Chiaia sbuca, dopo aver attraversato un viale alberato, nella bellissima piazza dei Martiri caratterizzata da i suoi spettacolari edifici costruiti in architettura neoclassica.
Attraversata una semi deserta villa comunale siamo finalmente arrivati sul lungomare dove ci ha allietato una rinfrescante brezza marina.
Il golfo di Napoli pullulava di imbarcazioni private e yatch di notevoli dimensioni mentre nella spiaggia sottostante si celebrava una festa di una comunità consolare che si è tuffata in mare visto che le temperature arrivavano a toccare i 26 gradi.
Da lontano giganteggiava, in mezzo al mare, la sagoma del Castel dell'Ovo avviluppata da un impalcatura metallica che piano piano lo ricoprirà tutto visto che finalmente si sono decisi a ristrutturare lo spettacolare edificio che rende il panorama cittadino davvero unico al mondo.
Dopo un po' abbiamo ripreso il cammino verso il ritorno a casa testimoniando con questo scatto l'affollamento dei ristoranti nell'area pedonale di via Partenope del sabato sera.
Ma prima di incamminarci verso la macchina abbiamo fatto un giro nel Borgo Marinari da dove si vedeva un lungomare avvolto nelle incantevoli luci della notte.
Proprio mentre passavo vicino alla meravigliosa fontana del gigante è arrivato il momento di salutare gli straordinari pionieri della blockchain di Hive che sono capitati tra le righe del mio report Actifit del fine settimana.
