A moderate cloudiness accompanies all this Sunday of June the first of the Neapolitan summer.
On this Sunday I stayed in the country as I dedicated myself to gardening and to my home although I had to go down to do the shopping and to meet some friends.
Most of my fellow countrymen will have spent this festive day on the beaches that were crowded in the news articles.
In my humble opinion in this area they built wrong and all these structures do not favor the development of these trees that do not grow with due force because they have too much sacrificed roots in concrete sarcophagi.
In fact these other trees that have a small plot of land available that breathes thrive and thrive.
The way back is quite long but it is more pleasant to walk when the temperatures are not too high and the sun alternates in the sky with the clouds.
The plants of the basil have grown luxuriant and it is time to give it an arrangement that allows it to grow with greater freedom.
Collected some larger leaves to freeze and store in the fridge I washed them and placed to dry on a half-new paper towel.
I left these plants that were already grown enough in their jars as they had not yet developed roots.
So I put the seedlings from the smaller jar into this larger rectangular pot along with other plants that I pulled from the pots that I showed you before so I could leave a small pot plant.

Una tranquilla domenica d'estate
Una moderata nuvolosità accompagna tutta questa domenica di giugno la prima dell'estate napoletana.
In questa domenica sono rimasto nel paese in quanto mi sono dedicato al giardinaggio e a casa mia anche se sono dovuto scendere per fare la spesa e per incontrare alcuni amici.
La maggior parte dei miei compaesani avrà trascorso questa giornata festiva sulle spiagge che sono risultate affollatissime negli articoli dei telegiornali.
A mio modesto parere in questa zona hanno costruito in modo sbagliato e tutte queste strutture non favoriscono lo sviluppo di questi alberi che non crescono con la dovuta forza perché hanno le radici troppo sacrificate in sarcofaghi di cemento.
Infatti questi altri alberi che hanno a disposizione un piccolo appezzamento di terreno che respira crescono rigogliose e floride.
La via del ritorno è piuttosto lunga ma è più piacevole passeggiare quando le temperature si mantengono non troppo elevate ed il sole si alterna in cielo con le nuvole.
Le piantine del basilico sono cresciute rigogliose ed è venuto il momento di dargli una sistemazione che le permetta di crescere con maggiore libertà.
Raccolte alcune foglie più grandi per congelarle e conservarle nel frigo le ho lavate e poste ad asciugare su un fazzoletto di carta seminuovo.
Ho lasciato queste piante che erano già abbastanza cresciute nei loro vasetti in quanto non avevano ancora sviluppato le radici.
Così ho messo le piantine dal vasetto più piccolo in questo vaso più grande rettangolare assieme ad altre piante estratte dai vasi che vi ho fatto vedere prima in modo da lasciare una pianta per vaso piccolo.
