A dear greeting to all lovers of physical activities that populate the mythical community of Actifit.
A sandstorm heralds the hottest day of the year. And today is not one of those days when I can be sheltered and at dawn I am already ready to go and collect the outcome of my analysis.
Got off in perfect sync with the bus arrival soon at the local health unit. At this point, very intelligently, I check the ticket they had given me on which it was written the time of withdrawal was two hours later. Someone will wonder but you couldn’t check before? From me will not get answer! LOL.
Made appointment with the barber to cut my hair and recover this two hours lost I go home on foot while the column of the temperature marks the achievement of 32 certain at 10 am. .
Unfortunately, when I returned to the local health unit I did not find any means of transport so I had to walk the way both on the outward and return. But in the end it was worth it because the tests were quite good except for the value of cholesterol that had reached the limit exceeding it by a few units.
Not even the time to have lunch that I always reached on foot the Circumvesuviana to go to Naples that I had another cardiological visit to the hospital Pellegrini.
When I arrived at the hospital in Barra I had just the time to photograph the two spectacular murals that revitalize the blind walls of these grey popular buildings.
I was in the Pellegrini hospital in the Pignasecca and to get there I took the Metro 2 stopping in the station of Montesanto, crucial junction to get inside Naples.
The health facility has within its walls a beautiful church or the church of the Holy Trinity that was closed shortly after lunch.
Back home in Circumvesuviana that I managed to take just because it is a train that always arrives late (not all evils come to harm) I had just enough time to finish preparing my backpack to go to my sister’s house at sea where I will spend a few days as she is alone injured and needs company and some help.
At the end of the afternoon my sister’s companion and I reached the beach house in Castel Volturno where he had begun to pull a strong mistral wind.
When I arrived at the bottom of the beach I noticed the perfectly flat sand and as I approached the sea my ankles were constantly bombarded by thick trails of grains of sand.
The sea was very rough with swell rising minutes in minutes and the air began to cool down.
Finally the heat wave that had gripped the lungs of the inhabitants of the Italian peninsula had been swept away in an afternoon by a deep Atlantic bag that had extended its legs on the Tyrrhenian Sea and with a powerful kick rejected the African anticyclone in its natural environment of origin.
What better way to celebrate my #iamalivechallenge 414 as I breathe in the fresh sea air full of iodine and happy to be able to get through this period in a really difficult environment, I’m happy to be #alive and proud of it.
Photographing the dunes near the closed shores to close the day, the red drape that flew away from a flag that indicated the prohibition of bathing and the degree of danger in diving into the rough waters lay on the ground.
Finally, I would like to thank all my friends from the tribe of #Alive and all the new friends who happened between the lines of my stories for reading my thoughts and see you at the next #actifit report.
