The sky above Gatwick Airport today was stunning!
After the chilly start, and as soon as the sun came up, we had very bright sunshine all day. It made me sneeze! I have this uncontrollable urge 😫 to sneeze sometimes when I am forced to look into the sun. As part of my job guiding our catering truck towards the aircraft, I have to look up. Of course, if the sun happens to be in my line of sight, it can be uncomfortable 🙃.
The sky was filled with vapour trails from high altitude aircraft passing by. They formed a pattern in the sky, which was stunning!
Tomorrow will be my very last day working on the airport. I retire from work and now look forward to a big change of life. This will, however, enable me to do something I really enjoy, and more often....riding on my mountain bike! 😃
